Early reports on set said Kidman had the flu and arrived pale and shaken, yet she insisted on completing every shot needed for the production. After wrapping, she was taken to the hospital to receive an IV. Co-star Nick Offerman praised her commitment and generosity in ensuring the scene was captured.

Training and the ring
